    What is GNUitarra?
GNUitarra is a helper for guitar players and musics that uses other string instruments.
GNUitarra can make chords, scales, excersices based on that, write tablatures, and more!
It has more than +50 types of chords, +4000 types of scales, and +50 string instruments (guitar, bass, etc)

What do I need to run it?
    To run GNUitarra you need:
  • Linux, DOS (DR-DOS, FreeDOS, M$, etc) or Window$ (*)
  • 640Kb of RAM (more is better)
  • 1Mb of hard disk
(*) maybe it can be build on other systems too (specially those POSIX)...
  •
How much does this cost? $$$
    Zero. Nothing. Nada. 0.
It is free software, but free as "freedom", not as "free beer".
Is distributed under the GNU GPL license.
Please read it here and visit www.opensource.org to learn more about it.

    Why I should use GNUitarra?
    That's a easy one.
You should use GNUitarra because is easy to use, don't need any expensive hardware, don't need strange librarys, is light-fast, ultra-small, you can fit it on one diskette!.
Also, is very handy to have a inexpensive 386 or similar, in the place where you exercise your instrument, loaded with GNUitarra, so you can always check your chords, scales, and solos.
It loads fast, and works even faster.
You can even tune up/down the rythm of a song to match your voice tone.
Is ideal to learn to play guitar or other string instrument.
